Survivors of Torture Recovery Center
KY STEPS Survivor's Center- Provides trauma-informed, culturally responsive, collaborative, holistic care focusing on safety, wellbeing, productivity, self-efficacy, stability, and connectedness for refugees and their families who have experienced trauma and torture.

30% of refugees experience torture (either witnessing or experiencing torture), which is why this service is crucial in our community.

Anyone who is a primary or secondary survivor of torture qualifies for free mental health services including, individual and group therapy and mental health case management.

Social-emotional learning classes with students at Middle and High Schools in the Multilingual Clubs.

Attachment Vitamins: A parenting class offered to parents of children 5 yrs or younger. This is an evidence-based, ten-week course aiming to increase secure attachment between children and parents. This is a culturally-competent class that encourages parents to integrate their own cultural norms into the parenting process.
